Attached please find a recent campus security survey that came out in the early fall of this year, the survey provides some very interesting information, and covers a diverse group of responses from 342 Institutions including small community schools up to the largest of universities.
The project was funded by Lilly Endowment, and is available for download on the Educause website http://www.educause.edu/blog/vvogel/NationalCampusSafetyandSecurit/176255 .
The survey points to many areas where physical security solutions are in need of improvement, examples such as exterior campus CCTV coverage, Access Control and campus wide public address systems to name a few.
