The video shows the guard putting a choke hold on the shopper as a friend, who is also deaf, tries to communicate using sign language. Bystanders are heard saying, “you’re choking him,” and “he’s turning purple.” The man in the choke-hold also tries to communicate using sign language while still in the choke-hold.
